    Prescription Refill Policy

    It is important to keep an eye on your pet’s medications. Doing so will save you anxiety and will keep your pet safe and healthy. Please assist us by planning ahead for all of your medication refill needs.

    Requests should be made Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    *Requests made on Friday will be filled by the following Monday

    The easiest way to get refills is during a re-check appointment while you are at the hospital and your specialist is actively working with your pet. Be sure to check your medications prior to each appointment so we can better assist you!

    Requests for medication refills should be made online Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Requests can also be made by phone at 210-737-7373.

    ALL refill requests require at least 24 hour notice during the days your specialty service is in the hospital. This applies to medications filled by MissionVet Specialty & Emergency, as well as those called into a pharmacy.

    Any requests requiring same-day/urgent refill may be assessed a $20 refill fee.

    Additionally, if we have not seen your pet in some time, you may need to schedule an appointment with our specialist prior to refilling the medication.
