MissionVet Specialty and Emergency is in search of a self-motivated emergency veterinarian who excels in multi-tasking and strives for excellence in patient care, client experience and comprehensive communication to join its growing team!
Our multidisciplinary hospital was created in 2012 by partners of Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston and local partners Tige Witsberger (Surgeon) and Jocelyn Cooper (Neurologist/Neurosurgeon) to provide family veterinarians, clients, and patients in the San Antonio area with “Care You Can Count On.” MissionVet and its sister hospitals GCVS (Houston, TX) and AVES (Austin, TX) partnered with the Compassion-First Pet Hospitals to accelerate its growth and network with other best-in-class specialty and emergency hospitals. In December 2016, MissionVet acquired Mission Pet Emergency, thereby combining the specialty services with nights/weekends emergency services. Additional specialty services offered at MissionVet include internal medicine, general surgery and orthopedics, neurology and neurosurgery, dermatology and oncology.
